Maui has the first The Well Armed Woman or TWAW shooting chapter in the state of Hawaii. The club celebrated it's 1 year anniversary recently.
The women meet monthly to train and shoot together at Ukumehame Range.

Glock presentation
shooting fundamentals
handgun selection - show and tell
personal defense - pepper spray
situational awareness
gun cleaning
arm strengthening skills (weak hand shooting)
intro to trap shooting
clearing misfeeds, common malfunctions
trauma response/first aid
family fun shoot - American Marksman
Turkey shoot
To be a member, you must be 21 and have taken a basic pistol course. Membership is $50 a year.
