NEW AUCTION ITEMS ADDED

We are very excited to announce that we will be auctioning:

1. A Black Bear hunt and fishing trip to Alaska


2. An African hunt and


3. A Red Stag hunt to New Zealand

In addition, this is the 100th anniversary of the Colt 1911 and it is the Gun of the Year. We will have a wonderful Colt up for auction.


Your support of this event will help to make it a success and will help promote shooting sports in Hawaii. The Maui Friends of the NRA gives grants to improve ranges, buy equipment for local high school rifle teams, and support Boy Scouts and 4H clubs.

Happy New Year

Now that the holidays are over it is time to kick the planning into high gear!

Volunteers who would like to be on the planning committee and who can actively participate in the oraganization of the event are greatly appreciated.... please call Bernice at 872-2422.

The first planning meeting will be held on Friday, January 7th at 6 p.m. at Central Guns and Ammo in Kahului. Please call Bernice at 872-2422 if you are interested in being on the planning committee.

Currently we are looking for businesses and individuals who would like to sponsor the event and/or donate items for the auction. Sponsor levels are: $10,000, $7,500, $5,000 and $2,500 (any amount is welcome!) Advertising and tickets to the event included.

We will also be selling specially designated NRA tables again. It should be a wonderful sold out event.

The 3rd annual Maui Friends of the NRA dinner will be held on Sat. March 12 at the King Kamehameha Golf Club in Waikapu. Tickets are $50 and you can contact Bernice at Central Guns and Ammo for more information.
